Virginia Tech Women's Club Volleyball teams had a great season; working hard and competing in the gold bracket at the 2016 NCVF National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. Both A and B Teams finished 9th in the nation in DI and DIII Divisions, respectively.

The 2016 season will begin the first week of school with two weeks of open gym and then tryouts starting September 5th. All from 4-6 in War Memorial Gym. Hope to see you there!

About Virginia Tech's Women Club Volleyball: 

Virginia Tech Women's Club Volleyball is a student organization registered through the Division of Student Affairs and the Department of Recreational Sports at Virginia Tech. We are affiliated with the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) and USA Volleyball (USAV). The purpose of VTWCVB is to promote the sport of volleyball and provide opportunities for women to play in competitive tournaments at the collegiate club level. Membership is open to registered female students of the Virginia Tech community. 

The club’s members are selected through a try-out process at the beginning of each semester.  Members who wish to try-out should visit the club website for information on times and locations for try-outs.  Players will be selected to participate on either the Maroon or Orange Team.


Each team will have approximately 10-12 team members to allow for a high level of participation by all team members. Both teams will travel to the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation's National Tournament in the Spring semester. 

All members are dedicated, hardworking and committed to the club.  They are asked to make every effort to schedule classes around practice times and tournaments and are held accountable to maintaining a high academic standard.
